Business hub in Panchkula if you vote BJP, says O P Dhankar

PANCHKULA: Haryana BJP president O P Dhankar promised to make the district a national-level business hub if the party comes to power in the municipal elections.
During a press conference at the party office in Sector 8 on Monday, Dhankar said: “No previsous government in Haryana had the guts to call a direct election for mayor.”
Party’s mayoral candidate, Kulbhushan Goyal, campaigned in the city, poor colonies, and villages. Goyal said: “The BJP has ended the era where horse-trading made mayors.” At Rajiv Colony, Indira Colony, Khadak Mangoli, Madrasi Colony, and Ashiana Complex, he spoke of civic amenities.
Goyal said: “Under the BJP. The shortage of electricity and water has reduced. The 100-bedded hospital was upgraded to 300 beds. Dialysis, MRI, CT scan, and heart cath lab were added to the government hospital.”
Venod, wife booked
Haryana Jan Chetna Party (JCP) president Venod Sharma and his wife, mayoral candidate Shakti Rani Sharma, were on Monday booked for fake news. Complainant Sandeep Sachdeva told Ambala police: “They presented one of my namesakes on a portal to allude that I had quit the BJP.” The JCP replied: “The charges are false.”
