CBSE Board exams not to be held in Feb in view of COVID-19: Pokhriyal

New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) The Union Government on Tuesday decided not to conduct the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board examinations in February next year, in view of the global Novel Coronavirus pandemic.

This information was given by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' in a tweet.

The Union Minister said he has received a lot of requests from various students and teachers to postpone the CBSE Board exams for Classes 10 and 12.

'Keeping the #COVID19 pandemic in mind & after various consultations, we have decided that #board exams will not be held in February,' he tweeted.

'Exact dates will be announced soon. Our govt is in favour of #students,' the Minister said in another tweet.
