Another Cheetahs player is set to leave Bloemfontein for greener pastures abroad.
According to Netwerk24, hooker Jacques du Toit will further his career at English club Bath.
The 27-year-old told the Afrikaans publication he was just waiting on his family's visas and flight bookings before jetting off.
Du Toit, a former Junior Springbok, started his senior career at the Cheetahs in 2014 and also had a stint with the Southern Kings in the PRO14.
This follows the news over the weekend that promising Cheetahs prop Boan Venter was on the wish list of prominent clubs in the United Kingdom.
Afrikaans newspaper Rapport indicated that English clubs, Leicester Tigers and Gloucester, and Scottish outfit, Edinburgh, are interested in signing the 23-year-old loosehead.
It's been a tough time of late for the Cheetahs, who've lost several players.
A recent report also indicated that flyhalf Tian Schoeman and hooker Reinach Venter will further their careers in Europe.
Schoeman will join Du Toit at Bath, while Venter if off to France where he will play for Clermont Auvergne.
Other players confirmed to leave include prop Luan de Bruin, who said the uncertainty regarding the franchise's future was the reason he joined the Leicester Tigers. He will join up with his former Cheetahs team-mate Jasper Wiese at Welford Road.
The Cheetahs lost Wiese, lock Walt Steenkamp (Bulls) and centre Benhard Janse van Rensburg (NEC Green Rockets, Japan) at the end of October, while lock JP du Preez also recently joined Sale Sharks in England.
They are also set to lose the services of forwards coach Corniel van Zyl to English club London Irish.
The Cheetahs learnt earlier this year that they would not form part of an expanded PRO16 event, and while there is hope of them playing in a new Intercontinental Shield competition in Europe, they will only know in February if their application to take part has been accepted.
