Advent Christmas programme celebrated at Keirao AC

Imphal, December 20 2020: MLA Lourembam Rameshwor and hills community in Keirao Assembly Constituency celebrated advent Christmas today at Kiyamgei Mamang Leikai.

Speaking at the celebration, Lourembam Rameshwor said Keirao A/ C is worthy of being called 'Mini India' with various communities living together in harmony.

He added that the Constituency is populated by Meitei, Meitei Pangal, Maring, Kabui, Chiru and Tangkhul.

The MLA added that the Constituency is lagging behind on the developmental front for a long time, specially the areas inhabited by tribal communities.

However since he was elected as representative of the people, he focused on the neglected regions.

Gifts were presented to Pastors and village chiefs by the MLA as a part of the programme.

The programme was also marked by a musical programme and a feast.

The MLA also extended Christmas and New Year wishes to the people.
