War of words between Mamata Banejree's poll strategist Prashant Kishor & BJP leadership over poll forecast

Kolkata, Dec 21 (UNI) A war of words is raging in the social media between Chief Minister
Mamata Banerjee's poll strategist Prashant Kishor and the BJP leadership over the figure
of seats to be won by them in 2021 Assembly elections.
While Prashant Kishor claimed the BJP would not cross the double digit, the saffron
brigade predicted the BJP tsunami would cross over 200 seats in next year's poll.
West Bengal Assembly has 294-seat.
Prashant Kishor, drafted by Mamata Banerjee for her Bengal election campaign, said
the BJP would struggle to cross double digits and vowed to quit Twitter if it did better
than he predicted.
The morning began in the social media with a tweet from Prashant Kishor.
'' For all the hype AMPLIFIED by a section of supportive media, in reality BJP will
struggle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in #WestBengal PS: Please save this tweet and
if BJP does any better I must quit this space!" Prashan Kishor tweeted.
His tweet happened a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Bolpur rally
reiterated that the BJP will win over 200 seats in 2021 poll after watching a surge of
people at his roadshow
However, BJP poll managers and in-charge of Bengal Kailash Vijayvargiya and Arvind
Menon lost no time and hit back, bidding advance farewell to Prashant Kishor.
" BJP doesn't run on others' predictions we create our own," said BJP's secretary
Arvind Menon.
" Amit Shah Ji & JPNadda Ji have declared that "Didi will be isolated" & "BJP will
win 200 seats in West Bengal" ' Advance Greetings for your farewell', Tweeted
Menon.
BJP's general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said the country will lose a 'master
poll strategist' after next year's West Bengal Assembly Elections.
"Given the ongoing BJP tsunami in Bengal; once the new government is formed,
the country will have to lose an election strategist," BJP national general secretary
Kailash Vijayvargiya said in a tweet.
