Minimum temperature falls in Nashik, to remain at 15°C for next few days

NASHIK: Many citizens, who stepped out of their homes on Sunday, could feel a nip in the air as the minimum temperature in Nashik city dropped to 12.2 degrees celsius —2 degrees below normal.
The minimum temperature of the city has been fluctutaing for the past few days. The minimum temperature has dropped by 3.8 degrees from 16 degrees celsius on Thursday.
The city recorded a maximum temperature of 27.4 degree celsius on Sunday, with a departure of 2 degrees from the normal.
According to sources in the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain clear and the minimum temperature will hover around 15 degree celsius for the next five to six days. Niphad, the grape-growing belt in Nashik district, recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degree celsius on Sunday.
According to the weather station at the Agricultural Research Centre of Rahuri’s Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) in Niphad, the minimum temperature had dipped to 8.5 degree celsius on November 12. The minimum had again increased to 19 degree celsius on November 19. The minimum temperature in Niphad had been fluctuating between 14 and 18.5 degree celsius in the last couple of weeks.
