National, 21 December 2020: CII recognizes DROR Enterprise App, a citizen safety app’s exemplary work in COVID-19 protection for their collaboration with Metalman Auto to provide social distancing solutions for a smooth functioning of their manufacturing units during the on-going pandemic since July 2020. Post the successful stint with Metalman, DROR extended the app for commercial use across industries.
With the on-going use of their new enterprise solutions at Metalman Auto’s manufacturing plants, DROR Enterprise App has been providing them with an array of customized benefits for enterprises and workplaces alike. Using the app HR departments can track and preview the workforce’s real-time social distancing score aiding them to maintain distancing within the office premises and sustain a safe work environment. Additionally, it also assesses the exposure time of each employee in case they came in contact with someone tested positive. It sends timely trackers scheduled daily, weekly and fortnightly, to the user, with which they can analyze whether the social distancing protocols have been maintained or not. Necessary actions can be taken by the HR team based on the report generated by the app. Leveraging Geo-fencing technology, the DROR Enterprise App also identifies and alerts an employee if they are within the proximity of 500 metres and below of a COVID-19 containment zone. Lastly, using Bluetooth signals, the invasion alarm helps alert the user of being within a 2m radius of another user further reiterating the need to maintain social distancing.
Through DROR Enterprise App’s self-declaration form feature, that ensures utmost transparency in the system, Metalman Auto’s HR department have been accessing their workforce’s updated health status that includes — whether the employee is healthy or not, their family’s health conditions, and recent travelling history around any COVID-19 containment zones. The required information has been filled with a customizable questionnaire. Another key technological advance introduced by DROR Enterprise App includes, dropping off of biometric devices, which are a thing of the past, and introducing
contactless attendance, in which a two-step verification includes a walk-in geo-fence attendance, followed by a live selfie of the employee. This helps teams report to work without physically coming in contact. A live workplace bulletin, known as ‘noticeboard’, is introduced with the latest COVID-19 and emergency health updates for the team to convey emergency news for many employees at a time.
