Miles Teller Comments on That 2015 'Esquire' Interview That Questioned If He's a 'D-ck'

Miles Teller is reflecting back on that 2015 interview with Esquire that went viral for what the author wrote about him.
“You’re sitting across from Miles Teller at the Luminary restaurant in Atlanta and trying to figure out if he’s a d-ck,” the piece opened, while concluding with, “He gives you a hug and goes off to contribute to the cache or catalog or canon or whatever the f— you call it and charm the world with his dickishness.”
At the time the interview was published, Miles responded directly to them, writing, “@esquire couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t think there’s anything cool or entertaining about being a dick or an as*hole. Very misrepresenting.”
During an interview with Men’s Health in 2020, Miles was asked about the infamous printing.
He responded, “It was frustrating because my parents always told me the one thing you take to the grave is your reputation.”
