ASI commits suicide

Aurangabad, Dec 20 ( UNI) An Assistant Sub Inspector ( ASI) Jitendra Kumar Singh posted at Amba police station shot himself through his service revolver and committed suicide here this morning.
Police superintendent Sudhir Kumar Porika said here today that Mr Singh (56) shot himself at 9:00 a.m. in his room. The deceased was an inhabitant of Rohtas district.
Mr Porika said that the reason behind the suicide was yet to be ascertained.
The body has been sent for postmortem
The matter was being investigated.
