Imphal, December 19 2020: Kh Johnson, general secretary Federation of Haomee Youth Wing, has stated that collective effort is needed to make Inner Line Permit System (ILPS) more efficient in protecting the States' indigenes.

In a statement, Johnson continued that non-locals continue to roam freely in every nook and comer of the State amid this pandemic.

Recalling that the Government had stopped the renewal of ILP to check the spread of novel coronavirus, Johnson added that it is imperative to check the validity of ILP passes owned by non-local and those who hold invalid passes should be handed over to nearby Police Station.
