GURUGRAM:
Haryana chief minister
Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday met home and health minister
Anil Vij to enquire about his health. Vij, who had tested positive for
Covid on December 5, was shifted to
Medanta hospital in
Gurugram on Tuesday from
PGIMS,
Rohtak, after there was little improvement in his health.
A health bulletin released by Medanta said the minister was feeling better and taking rest.
“He has been talking to the medical team. Although he is still in
ICU and on oxygen support with high flow nasal cannula, his vital parameters are stable. He is being monitored round the clock,” said Dr AK Dubey, the medical superintendent of Medanta.
Doctors said they were happy with the way Vij had been responding to treatment. The medical team that attended to the minister on Saturday included Dr Virender Yadav, Dr Deepak Govil and Dr Sushila Kataria. They advised that the treatment be continued.
