Imphal, December 19 2020: The State Cabinet on Saturday gave nod to amend the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Manipur) Rules, 2020 and install one police outpost at India Peace Memorial Complex at Maibam Lotpa Ching and a police station at Liyai Chunou.

A highly placed source in the Government said that the Cabinet meeting also gave green singal to call 'Expression of Interest' for establishment of a cancer hospital.

The Cabinet also decided to table the Manipur Private University Bill, 2020 at the next Assembly Session and give a suitable job to three times Guiness World Record holder Yambem Govind Singh in the Youth Affairs and Sports Department.

The meeting which started at around 4.30 pm continued till late night.
