New Delhi: Country’s premier institution Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will reopen the campus for students from December 21, 2020 as part of Phase IV reopening. All students who are planning to come back to the varsity will have to undergo a self-quarantine of seven days after arrival at Delhi from outstation and before joining the campus.
For the fourth phase, the varsity will be opened for PWD-Ph.D science students from all Sciences Schools/Centres/Special Centre (both day scholars & hostellers) who require to access laboratory are allowed to enter the campus, JNU said in a statement.
The University had reopened partially from November 2 after months-long Coronavirus-induced lockdown. In the first phase, the University had resumed only for final-year PHD research scholars, students and project staff members who needed access to laboratories and special centres for work and studies.
