Antony Waste Handling Cell, the 2nd largest player in the Indian Municipal solid waste (MSW) management industry which is estimated at Rs 500 billion for FY 2020 with an established track record of more than 19 years.
MUMBAI: Antony Waste Handling Cell has raised Rs 90 crore from 10 anchor investors ahead of its initial public offer which is scheduled to open for subscription from Monday. The company has allocated 28.57 lakh shares at the upper price band of Rs 315 apiece. The anchor investors include SBI Mutual Fund, Tata AIG General Insurance Company, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and 238 Plan Associates LLC among others.

The IPO has been priced in the range Rs 313-315 apiece. The offer comprises fresh issue of shares aggregating Rs 85 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 68.24 lakh equity shares. Investors can bid for a minimum of 47 equity shares and in multiples of 47 equity shares thereafter, for Rs 14,805. The offer for sale comprises up to 13.90 lakh equity shares by Leeds (Mauritius), 20.85 lakh equity shares by Tonbridge (Mauritius), 11.58 lakh equity shares by Cambridge (Mauritius) and 21.90 lakh equity shares by Guildford (Mauritius).

As of November 15, 2020, the company has undertaken more than 25 projects out of which 18 are on-going comprising 12 MSW C&T projects, 2 MSW processing projects and 4 mechanized sweeping projects. Currently the company owns a fleet of 1,147 vehicles of which 969 were equipped with GPS technology. They procure the components of its vehicles mostly from leading international suppliers including from Compost System GmbH.
