The best way to supercharge dull skin or master an awake, fresh face is through a strategically placed swipe of highlighter. You don't need to pick a glittery, shimmery kind—today's subtle formulas are able to give you a lit-from-within glow. Alia Bhatt posted a photoshoot snap of herself with glam nude makeup. Her makeup artist, Puneet B Saini, applied it on the high points of her face (like her cheekbones, cupid's brow and brow bone) that naturally pull light. She added a swath of bronzer under the cheekbones too, to add more definition, but skipped blush completely. Kareena Kapoor Khan added to her natural pregnancy glow by layering on extra highlighter to her brow bones to accentuate her arches. Janhvi Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra went with an all-over sheen, mixing an illuminator in with their base makeup to look that much more sunkissed. As for the rest of her makeup, Kapoor painted on pink lips and lots of mascara to exaggerate her lashes, while Chopra wore a matte red lip and a little blush across her cheeks. 

Karisma Kapoor and Athiya Shetty showed off their healthy, balanced skin

When off the clock, Karisma Kapoor is a fan of trading her staple red matte in favour of a bare-faced look. In her latest Instagram snap, Kapoor eschewed even her regular concealer, just showing off her clear skin in the process. Athiya Shetty's photo served as a call to action to go makeup-free more often, and her caption made it clear how she keeps her skin balanced and clear: sunscreen. She's always been a fan of this must-have skincare product: “I always wear sunblock before I leave the house. It gives me a glow and makes me feel pretty," she shared in 2016. Just like Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dia Mirza posted a photo of herself with her pet too—sunlight beaming off both their faces.
