A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight pegged the active cases at 11,876. Indore District continued to have the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 431 new instances, Bhopal 214, Jabalpur 42, Gwalior 33, Ratlam 30, Ujjain 27, Khargone 25, Rewa 22, Jhabua 21, Sagar and Satna 19 each, Dhar 18, Barwani 17, Rajgarh 15, Balaghat and Dewas 14 each, Shivpuri 13, Neemuch 12, etc. The silver lining is that 2,13,801 individuals recuperated; 1,450 of them on this very day.

The other deputy head was Mr Sanjay Baurasi who bagged more than 13,000.

As many as 2,000 fishermen and cattle-rearing individuals were issued Kisan Credit cards on the occasion, it was officially learnt.
