Two missing post road mishap

CCpur, December 18 2020: A truck carrying 200 solar lamps met a road mishap in between Santing and Sihum villages along the Tipaimukh Road in the wee hours of yesterday.

The truck was severely damaged as it reportedly fell on a deep gorge.

The truck driver and his helper remain untraced by the time of filing this report.

Sources said that the truck which belongs to the Madhani Engineering Works, Kanpur was carrying 200 solar lamps and poles for Pherzawl district.

A team of police rushed to the spot yesterday.

However, they could not locate the driver and his helper.

The district administration has today dispatched more help and sent a team of State Disaster Relief Force to locate the driver and helpers, and to pull up the vehicle, sources added.
