NEW DELHI: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had invited applications for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2020 on November 6. Today is the last date to apply for SSC CHSL Examination 2020 on its official website - https://ssc.nic.in/.

Earlier, the deadline to apply for SSC CHSL 2020 was December 15 which has been extended till December 19, 2020.

The Commission will hold Computer Based Examination (Tier-I) examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India from April 12 to 27, 2021.

Candidates, in their own interest, are advised to apply online at the earliest possible to avoid last minute rush as during the closing hours the website may become unresponsive.

Earlier, the SSC had released the tantative SSC CHSL (10+2) vacancies. According to the notice, there are around 4726 vacancies are to be filled through the recruitment process.

SSC CHSL Exam 2021: Age Limit (as on January 1, 2021)

Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003.

Relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

3 For PwD (Unreserved) candidates 10 years
4 For PwD (OBC) candidates 13 years
5 For PwD (SC/ ST) candidates 15 years

SSC CHSL Exam 2021: Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-01-2021)

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

SSC CHSL Exam 2021: Application Fee


Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only). Fees can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.


Exemption: Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
