AR provides humanitarian assistance

Imphal, December 17 2020:
In consonance with its humanitarian efforts, troops of Assam Rifles provided humanitarian assistance to Chacha Nehru Bal Bhavan School (CNBB) and Themnu Old Age Care Home (TACH) run by an NGO 'SHARE' (Social Human Action for Rural Empowerment) at Mata village in Churachandpur district, today.
Assam Rifles distributed ration items to 45 children and 35 old-age people and enquired about their issues and problems, said PRO Assam Rifles in a statement.
A lecture on Covid awareness for children and the aged people was also given by the troops.
