Organisation asks Konsakhul village to take responsibility if NSU project is transferred

Imphal, December 17 2020: Senjam Khunou & Senjam Chirang Joint Development Organisation (SKSCJDO) has asked the Konsakhul Village to take full responsibility if the project of National Sports University (NSU) is transferred to other States.

In a statement, the organisation also appealed to the State Government to take stem legal actions against those who are hindering the project.

The organisation further asked why the Konsakhul village is kicking up a fuss only now.

Claiming that the site where NSU is to be constructed was bought from Konsakhul by the elders of Senjam Khunou & Senjam Chirang at a payment of Rs 13, SKSCJDO added that they have the requisite document to back its claim.

The organisation also urged Konsakhul Village to approach the Court if it wants to contest that the sports university site falls under their jurisdiction.
