Defamation suit against Kangana Ranaut and Twitter in Bihar

Patna, Dec 18 (UNI) Rashtriya Lok Samta party (RLSP) today filed a defamation suit against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and two officials of microblogging site Twitter India before the court of chief judicial magistrate (CJM) in Patna.

The suit has been filed in the court of CJM Vijay Kishor Singh under various clauses of the the Indian Penal Code.

The matter would be heard on December 22, next.

In the case it has been alleged that Kangana Ranaut on her Twitter handle shared a photograph of electoral meeting of RLSP chief and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha and had termed Mr Kushwaha and other leaders as urban Naxals, Khalistanis and Jihadists for free Kashmir.

Even after the complain, neither Kangana Ranaut nor Twitter India apologized after which the case was lodged before the CJM.
