Polymer Price Tracker: PVC Prices Continue To Tread At Higher Levels, Says ICICI Securities

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) price uptrend continues with another hike of Rs 6 per kilogram, or 5.4%, with-effect-from December 18, 2020.

This is the sixth hike in PVC prices in Q3 FY21 (up 28.5%) after an increase of Rs 14.5/kg, or 18.9%, in Q2 FY21.

The rally, which started with a sharp spurt in May and June 2020, has now extended into Q3 FY21 as well.

PVC prices, which are now at Rs 117.3/kg, have risen 78.9% since May 01, 2020. The surge has been largely led by sustained supply-side issues globally.
