On Thursday, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the Civil Services main examination admit card on its official website. Candidates who have taken the prelims exam and successfully submitted the detailed application form (DAF) can download their UPSC civil services admit card at upsc.gov.in.
UPSC civil services main exam would be conducted on January 8,9, 10 , 16 and 17, 2021. The exam will be held in two sessions — the morning session from 9 am to noon and the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm.
UPSC had conducted its preliminary examination on October 4 and its result was announced on October 24.
Steps to download UPSC CSE Main admit card:
- Visit the official website- upsc.gov.in
- Under the news announcement section, click on the admit card link
- Login using your roll number and date of birth
- Your UPSC civil services main exam admit card will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take its print out.

The CSE Main will be a written test. Those who pass, it will be called for the interview round which is the final leg of the selection process. The number of candidates to be summoned for the interview will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled.
Finally selected candidates would fill administrative positions in different All-India Services and central civil services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS.
