JNIMS Director appeals

Imphal, December 17 2020: Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) has appealed to the Teachers Association (TA), Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Association for All Non Teaching Staffs (AANTS) and employees of JNIMS not to resort to any form of agitation including mass casual leave on December 18 and 19 till the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in JNIMS is discussed at the Chief Minister's level in the interest of JNIMS and public at large.

He further stated that the matter regarding implementation of 7th Pay Commission has been put up to the Higher Authority of JNIMS and it is under process at Secretariat Health Department and Finance Department (PIC), Government of Manipur.

Secretary to Chief Minister and Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, have been already apprised of the resolution of the Joint Governing Body Meeting held on December 14 .

In view of the rising COVID cases and its mortality which is increasing daily, ongoing Manipur University MBBS Examination in JNIMS and enforcement of National Disaster Management Act 2005.the Director appealed to all the concerned not to resort to any form of agitation at the moment.
