In Assam, Covid 19 vaccine will be administered to 86 lakh people in priority basis. Senior Health officials said that frontline workers and senior citizens would be given vaccination in priority basis.
Health officials also informed that Covid 19 vaccination will be given free of cost. The Health department is taking step to develop required infrastructure to store COVID-19 vaccines. Along with infrastructure, training is also being given to health workers in the state.
