Woman duped of Rs54,500

Chandigarh: An unknown person has been booked for allegedly duping a Mani Majra resident of Rs54,500. According to the police, a woman reported that she had seen an advertisement regarding the sale of an iPhone 11 Pro Max on Instagram. The victim was asked to pay Rs54,500 following which she transferred the money on April 13 this year. She, however, did not receive the phone after which she reported the matter to the police. TNS
