Unofficial entry points at Indo-Myanmar border sealed

Indian authority stepped up its precautionary measures to check spread of COVID-19 by sealing all the unofficial entry points at Moreh sector of Indo-Myanmar. Following the development, cross border movement was allowed only at the two officials gates (gate no. 1 and 2) at the border town Moreh, official reports here said on Monday.

Earlier, local residents of both the countries at the Indo-Myanmar border were allowed to cross the border without any restriction except frisking and checking of things in their possessions by troops of Assam Rifles guarding the international border.
