Patna, Dec 18 (UNI) National General Secretary of CPI(ML) Deepankar Bhattacharya today strongly advocated for the merger of all left parties in India to take on BJP and save democracy in the country, saying it has become the need of the hour.
Mr Bhattacharya, while addressing a function to pay tributes to great party leader Vinod Mishra, on his 22nd death anniversary, said that BJP was posing a serious threat to democracy in the Country and it was demolishing all constitutional institutions. When Corona pandemic was at its peak, the monsoon session of parliament wash convened to bring Agriculture Reforms legislations, which would leave farmers at the mercy of Corporate Houses like Ambanies and Adanies, he added.
" Now that threat of Corona pandemic has subsided considerably, Narendra Modi government has decided not to convene parliament session", Mr Bhattacharya said, adding that issue of farmers
agitation could have discussed in parliament, had it been convened, to find the solution of farmers facing troubles due to recently rolled out Agriculture Reforms Acts.
Fascism was on rising under the regime of BJP led NDA government at the Centre, he further said adding that government was selling all assets of the nation to Adanies and Ambanies group of companies.
CPI (ML) leader said that Narendra Modi government was implementing the agenda of RSS in the country, which could not be tolerated. RSS had drawn inspiration from Hitler and Mussolini when it was founded in 1925.
RSS had nothing to do with the movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose besides other great leaders. BJP brand of politics had posed a serious threat to India and time had come for all left forces to join hands and float one Communist party, he said, adding that earlier one Communist party existed in the country. Leader of all left parties was feeling the need to go for merger and launch one Communist party, he remarked.
