Delhi: Man held for stabbing over onions

NEW DELHI: Ten days after a man was stabbed, leading to damage in his internal organs, a 59-year old man has been arrested for allegedly trying to kill him. Police said the accused stabbed his friend as he did not pass onion salad to him while eating.
The incident took place on December 8 in south Delhi’s Fatehpur Beri.
The victim, Pawan (60), had sustained damages in his intestine. Police were informed about the incident from the hospital. The accused has been identified as Riyasat Ali. The two were working together at a godown, and allegedly got into an argument over sharing the onion salad during dinner.
The cops said that Ali attacked the victim with a kitchen knife for refusing to give him the onions.
