Reforms to boost farmers’ income, former BJP chief

Ludhiana, December 17

Coming in support of farm laws, former Punjab BJP president Rajinder Bhandari said the Central Government is committed to address the apprehensions of farmers on agri laws and will always welcome dialogue with farmers. He said the recent meetings and parleys between the agitating farmer groups and senior ministers is a step towards addressing all fears and misconceptions.

Bhandari added the Central government of BJP has taken all the interests and long-standing economic duress of the agrarian sector of the nation while coming out with these revolutionary laws, which will uplift the stagnant income of the farming community.

He added the government was open to dialogue and would listen patiently to all the apprehensions of the farmers and address their issues. — TNS
