Karnataka reports 1222 fresh cases of COVID-19

Bengaluru, Dec 18(UNI) Karnataka reported 1222 fresh cases of COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hours
taking the total number of people infected with the coronavirus to 907123 ever since the onset of the pandemic in the state.
According to official sources the number of people who had succumbed to death due to the COVID-19 disease accounted for 8 in the last 24-hours, taking the number of fatalities due to pandemic to 11989.
The sources said that in the last 24-hours as many as 1039 covid-19 patients got discharged from various hospitals, after being totally cured from the pandemic disease.
The sources also said that in the last 24-hours as many as 104541 persons had undergone COVID-19 tests
including that of 13548 of the Rapid Antigen Detection Tests.
