Gigabit-capable broadband available to 7.9 million UK homes - Ofcom

Gigabit-capable broadband is now available to 7.9 million, or 1 in 4 (27%), UK homes, according to Ofcom's latest annual Connected Nations report. The highest availability of gigabit speed broadband is in Northern Ireland where more than 50 percent of homes have access, followed by Scotland with 42 percent of homes.
