Not only this, but pilates also helps to increase your performance in every sports and fitness activity. Developed by a German anatomist, Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s, this workout is based on the principles of concentration, control, centre, flow, precision, and breathing. There are different forms of pilates and mat pilates in the most common one. Mat Pilates is a combination of disciplines like dance, yoga, callisthenics and is performed on a mat.
