Jharkhand: Maoists set five trucks on fire in Tetariyakhad Colliery of Latehar, encounter on with police

Latehar, Dec 18 (UNI) Ultras created havoc inside the Tetariyakhand Colliery of the CCL located under Balumath Police Station area of this district as they set five trucks on fire and also opened indiscriminate firing in which four men sustained bullet injuries.
The injured have been identified as Pintu Yadav, Basropan Ganjhu, Anil Yadav and Suraj Ganjhu.
They were rushed to Balumath community health care centre from where they were referred to RIMS Ranchi due to their critical condition.
Ultras opened fire at Balumath SDPO Ajit Kumar and his team as soon as they reached the spot, but the police team responded with retaliatory firing.
At the time of filing this story, exchange of fire was on between the police and the ultras.
An eye witness said that a group of 25 armed ultras reached the spot around 2000hrs and opened indiscriminate firing and later they poured petrol and set five trucks on fire.
