When fitness advocate and influencer Deepti Akki realised the need for a complete fitness regime, she launched a platform called Monday Monk. Recently, the team launched the second centre of Monday Monk at KK Nagar.
Chennai: Their first centre “At Monday Monk, we focus on both physical and mental well being. We aim to synergise both the mind and body through the culmination of mindfulness, homegrown Indian nutrition and gratitude in correct proportions. We have different workouts, including power, flexibility, strength, endurance and agility along with a daily holistic training regimen developed by Kunal Rajput,” says Deepti.
People generally hate Mondays for various reasons and Deepti and her Monday Monk team are planning to change this attitude. “It is the start of the week and we have to do the same things again. We wanted to make people fall in love with Mondays with our different programs. A holistic fitness regime not only improves the efficiency and productivity of a person but also fits well into his/ her lifestyle. Apart from trainers, we have a good team of mental health professionals and nutritionists to support our members.”
