Papua New Guinea regulator says internet price review still in progress

Thursday 17 December 2020 | 11:38 CET | News
Papua New Guinea telecom industry regulator, the National Information Communication Technology Authority (Nicta), says the review into the internet wholesale price is still in progress, The National reported. Nicta CEO Kila Gulo-Vui told The National that the review was delayed because the industry had asked for an extension to the deadline in order to give the industry and its stakeholders the opportunity to comment on submissions. The review was to have been completed in October but Gulo-Vui said there were two reviews being conducted and that these were expected to complete this month.
