Gram sevak from Jalna in ACB net

Jalna, Dec 17 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Jalna has arrested a gram sevak of Devulgaon-Ugale-Pimpalkuta village in Jaffrabad taluka of the district while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from a complainant.
Gram sevak Satish Baburao Sable (32) had demanded Rs 2,000 from the complainant to release the cheque of Rs 12,000 sanctioned for constructing a toilet in his house under the Prime Minister's Toilet Scheme, official sources said on Thursday.
Aggrieved complainant registered a complaint with city unit of ACB, whose team today laid a trap in the premises of Panchayat Samiti office and caught red-handed the gram sevak while taking the bribe money from the complainant.
A case under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption (amendment) Act has been filed with the local police station against Sable, sources added.
