Imphal, December 16 2020: The Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Manipur today informed all the interested farmers that the Department will provide assistance for Agricultural Equipments as per the pattern of assistance of Government of India's guidelines under flagship programme/centrally sponsored schemes, 2020-21 .

The department requested all the interested farmers to submit the original cash memo/bill in original along with a copy of ADHAAR card and bank passbook each, mentioned the statement released by the department.

Under the assistance, the Department will provide assistance of 50% of the cost or Rs 750 for Knapsack sprayer; 50% or Rs 3100 for power sprayer, sprinkler sets as per PMKSY; 50% of the cost limited to Rs 50/metre for HDPE pipes or Rs 35/metre for PVC pipes; 50% of the cost or Rs 40,000/- for Paddy Thresher; 50% of the cost or Rs 1.5 lakhs for self propelled paddy transplanter; 50% of the cost or Rs 10,000/- per unit for pump sets; 50% of the cost or Rs 1,00,000 for cleaner cum grader and 50% of the cost or Rs .60/- for grinder, added the statement.

All the purchased should have been made from any authorised dealer in the State except for Sprinkler sets in which case they have to have been purchased from either M/s Wahengbam Irrigation Enterprise, Langathel/Wangoi or M/s East India Company, Mantripukhri, Imphal or M/s Symbolic Enterprises, Khurai Ahongei, Imphal East, said the statement.
