Subcontractors to cease work along 102B

CCpur, December 16 2020: The local subcontractors engaged in widening National Highway I02B between Lamjang and Singngat have today decided to cease all activities from tomorrow as they alleged payment for the works completed are not cleared as assured.

A statement issued by the local subcontractors said they had a meeting with Leena C, Project coordinator, Kanglasa Construction of Supply; Ajani Kumar Choubey, Project Manager RSM Infra on 14 December 2020 wherein both the parties assured to clear the bills within a week if the volume of work was provided to them by 4 pm of December 15, 2020 .

The subcontractors on the same day approached the company at their Lamjang camp office but found one subordinate official with the volume of their work done scribble in a piece of paper, it said and alleged that it was nothing but whimsical.

On closer examination, the piece of paper also shows just about 50 percent of their work volumes.

Though pleading to remeasure their works, they have not received any positive response till date.

Hence, they decided to cease work until a solution is reached.
