Thoubal: 2 training programmes begin

Thoubal, December 16 2020: To provide vocational training to inmates of children home, shelter home and observation home.

District Child Protection Unit Thoubal launched training programmes at Iramdam Ningol Sanglen (An open shelter home) .

Wangbal and at the children home opened at Women Income Generation Centre, Thoubal Wangmataba, today.

A 15 days classes for fine art and painting launched at Iramdam Ningol Sanglen is being participated by 16 girls.

RK Jiten is the painting instructor of the programme.

A month-long training programme on baskets and gift items making from Kouna which began at Thoubal Wangmataba is being attended by 18 girls.

Both the programmes were inaugurated by Legal cum Probation Officer of the District Child Protection Unit Thoubal.
