BJP yuba Morcha burn effigy of CM in protest against apathetic attitude towards development

Kendrapada, Dec 17 (UNI) Hundreds of activists of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuba morcha(BJPYM) of Kendrapada unit led by its president Dilip Kumar Das today held a protest rally in protest against the callous and step-motherly attitude of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik towards the district.
The Yuba Morcha activists went on a rally from Ram Mandir to Tinimuhani chowk and burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik, and the effigies of Kendrapada MP, and all the BJD MLAs of the district in protest.
The BJPYM district President alleged that though the Chief Minister during the election had assured that he would take charge of the district for its development, the district remains neglected.

The Chief Minister recently decided to set up three government medical colleges in Kandhamal, Puri and Jajpur but forgot Kendrapara. Despite repeated demands, the Kendrapada autonomous college has not yet got the status of the university.
“Though several times, the political parties irrespective of their political affiliations, intellectual demanded the Chief Minister in a different forum to set up a medical college and hospital in the district and to accord the status of the university to the Kendrapada Autonomous college, but the CM has not been taking any step.
“Mr Das threatened to intensify the agitation if the demands were not met. Senior Congress leader and the former minister, Ganeswar Behera, yesterday had also demanded the Chief Minister to set up Medical college in the district.
