Telenet introduces interactive television and communication platform Tellie, first for care centre residents

Belgium's Telenet Business has launched "Tellie," an interactive television and communication platform that can turn all TV screens into a smart TV. The service is aimed at connecting care centre residents to the outside world, and to help easily make video calls with family or friends. Residents, healthcare staff and visitors will receive customised information and personal interaction. The introduction comes amid the coronavirus pandemic, further emphasizing the need for user-friendly digital services for the elderly. Telenet noted that many of these are not sufficiently digitally literate
