Change 1: India vs Australia 1st Test in Adelaide: Strict Dress Code abandoned

SACA will abandon the strict dress code in the members area to reduce queuing at crossover points for health and safety reasons. The Oval’s daily crowd limit for the Test has been reduced to about 21,000 because of COVID-19 restrictions, meaning SACA members will be settled around the ground.

According to SACA dress code rules the members were required to wear a shirt with a collar and enclosed shoes for men, up-market casual dress and knee-length skirts for women. Grant Warland, SACA spokesman, however, said the members’ strict dress code was a “casualty of COVID”, reported Adelaide.co.au.

The authority has decided to open the South Australia Cricket Association’s members’ enclosure to the public this week.

Change 3: India vs Australia 1st Test in Adelaide: Traditional Village Green area’s capacity reduced

SACA has announced that the traditional Village Green area will have a capacity down to 1200 from 8000 but will maintain a combined Pimm’s, Mumm champagne and gin bar. New hospitality areas will also be introduced on level 5 of the Riverbank Stand.

Change 4: India vs Australia 1st Test in Adelaide: The hill area will be out of bounds

The hill area in front of the old scoreboard area in front of the old scoreboard will be closed for the Test.
