Neha Kakkar tied the knot with Rohanpreet Singh in October, following which she added Mrs Singh to her name on her Instagram account. The couple also released a song titled Nehu da vyah to celebrate their wedding. However, Neha didn't anticipate that the boy featuring in the music video would eventually become her husband. "One day during the lockdown, I was sitting idle and I thought let me try and make a song. My brother and sister already have this talent and I managed to make ‘Nehu da vyah'. The lyrics are such that I wanted something like this to materialise for me," Neha told IANS. She further added, "I wrote it very optimistically and I didn't know this would really happen. The boy in the video would be my husband."
Neha and Rohanpreet married as per the Sikh wedding ceremony Anand Karaj. Videos and pictures started doing the rounds on the internet soon afterwards. In the snapshots and clips, Neha and Rohanpreet seek blessings at a Gurdwara in the city.
Neha wore a peach lehnga while Rohanpreet wore matching kurta and turban. Neha's brother, composer-singer Tony Kakkar, shared a video on Instagram. In the clip, we can see guests dancing on dhol beats. A day before, Neha had shared a few pictures from her haldi and mehndi ceremonies.
