Forest and: Environment Minister chairs DLOs meeting

Tamenglong, December 15 2020: In preparation of the Chief Minister's visit to Tamenglong district, Forest, Environment and Climate change Minister Awongbow Newmai chaired a meeting of District Level officers of Tamenglong and Noney district at the DC conference hall, Tamenglong district headquarters, yesterday.

Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong, Armstrong Pame said that the various developmental projects such as dam construction site, Kangchup Tamenglong road, football ground of Tamenglong and electric power project of Tamenglong that are taken up in Tamenglong district were discussed.

During the meeting, various Government departments of Noney and Tamenglong district stated their grievances and developmental works that are undertaken during the last 3-4 years.

Awangbow Newmai during his visit inspected the mini Secretariat complex, dam construction site and the football ground of Tamenglong district.

All the Government departments of Tamenglong district will be shifted to the mini secretariat after some minor renovations.

As a part of the meeting, PHED presented a Power Point presentation on the various completed and upcoming schemes and projects in Tamenglong district.

After the meeting, the Forest and Environment Minister assured the departments that he will address all the grievances to the Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

He also instructed the Deputy Commissioner to mark any District Level Officers who were not present in the meeting today.

Further, the Chief Minister will be inaugurating various developmental projects during his visit to Tamenglong district.
