HINDUSTAN COPPER Share Price Up by 6%; BSE METAL Index Up 1.9%

HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 54.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 11,595 (up 1.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE METAL Index today is HINDUSTAN COPPER (up 5.6%).

HINDUSTAN ZINC (down 0.2%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, HINDUSTAN COPPER has moved up from Rs 38 to Rs 54, registering a gain of Rs 17 (up 44.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved up from 9,649 to 11,595, registering a gain of 1,946 points (up 19.8%) during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,666 (up 0.7%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include M&M (up 3.2%), ONGC (up 2.4%) and HINDALCO (up 2.0%). Other gainers include HDFC (up 2.0%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,939 to 46,592, registering a gain of 5,653 points (up 13.75%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit down at Rs 5 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 955 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 57.4% to Rs 1.5 billion during the period as against Rs 933.0 million in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 82.2% increase in net profit to Rs 1.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 798.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 5.6% to Rs 18 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 8.8x.
