Is GST or GST Registration required

Hello Experts,

I hope you can guide me in right direction.

I am a freelance individual computer programmer(I have no company registered) working for USA based company earning about 18LPA. I currently pay Direct Tax under 44ADA. From next year onwards my income will increase above 20LPA. I think I am exempt from paying GST since Now

1. Will I have to register for GST?

2.Is GST applicable to me?

3. Would I have to pay GST?
