Delhi reports 1,547 fresh nCoV cases, 32 deaths

New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) The national capital on Wednesday recorded 1,547 new cases of Novel Coronavirus, taking the total number of infections in the city to 6,11,994, the Health Bulletin said here.

Besides, 32 people also lost their lives due to the virus, pushing the city's death toll to 10,147 (1.66 per cent).

Meanwhile, 2734 people recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 5,88,586. The city's recovery rate stands at 96.18 per cent. Currently, the city houses 13,261 active cases, according to the Bulletin.

Total 79,042 tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, of which 37885 were RT-PCR tests, gold standard Test. So far, the national capital have conducted 7450994 tests.

On Tuesday, the city had reported 1,617 cases and 41 deaths.
