American car major Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), has further strengthened its commitment to India. The company has announced $150 million (Rs 1,110 crore) investment towards setting up a Global Digital Hub – ICT India in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The company says Hyderabad was a natural choice for setting up ICT India, as the city is an IT-hub, and home to some of the world’s biggest IT-companies. In addition, the OEM says it will also tap into the local talent as the state is home to more than 400 engineering colleges.

The new centre is FCA’s largest IT setup outside of North America, which will be a world-class setup and will create 1,000 of new jobs by 2021.
