Imphal, December 15 2020: To contribute against the fight of COVID 19, Chamhana Institute of Technology (a South Korean Company) donated a Chamhana Air Sanitizer and Purifier (Dr Aer) to Chief Minister N Biren Singh today.

Chief Minister also requested Muki Bae (CEO) and Mrinal Rajkumar (Director) of Chamhana India to provide some more machines for utilisation at JNIMS COVID-19 Ward.

Later Chamhana Institute of Technology also provided five similar machines to Shija Hospitals & Research Institute and six machines to Raj Medicity for demonstration purposes as well as to provide information on the efficiency of the machines.

The company has expressed their desire to contribute to a healthier environment.

The company stated that these machines are designed to kill all viruses, bacteria & pathogens within a room (free floating as aerosols or on surfaces) and also to reduce the PM 2.5 (particulate matter) pollution.

Three machines each were donated to the Government of Manipur and the Union Ministry of Sports.

Positive feedbacks have been received about the performance of the machine at Lamboikhongnangkhong Covid Care centre.

The machines have the KC (Korea Certification) which is similar to the European CE certification.

The machines have inbuilt proprietary self-cleaning catalyst, negative ion, UV-C and magnetic flux control units.

The oscillations of magnetic flux are controlled with proprietary technology to ensure penetration of emitted ions intoevery nook and crevices.

It is a new and different type of purifier that does not use filters but still kills viruses, bacteria and pathogens and also brings down the pollution level drastically.

Tests in the laboratory showed that the machine kills 99.9% of virus, bacteria & pathogens within 3 minutes and also COVID-19 virus within 10 minutes based on a study by Linggaijati Hospital, Indonesia.

This Government hospital in Indonesia remarked that the COVID-19 patients showed improvement of oxygen saturation within a week of utilization of Chamhana Air Sanitizer and Purifier.

Use of these machines in the hospital setting is seen as a possible means of controlling the current pandemic and also future air borne pandemics, it added.
